What is Massage Therapy?
It is the systematic and scientific manipulation of soft tissue to improve and maintain health. Through the ages, massage has proven to be therapeutic in promoting health of the body, mind, and spirit. In today's fast paced society, many people are becoming interested in the positive health benefits of massage.
What are the Benefits of Massage?
- Increases function of joints and muscle
- Reduces muscle spasm
- Relieves common back pain
- Stimulates circulation
- Helps reduce stress and creates relaxation
- Boosts the immune system
- Promotes healing and reduces pain
- Acts as a drugless therapy
What to Expect in a Massage Session?
You will be asked to lie on a massage table and will be modestly draped during the massage with only the area receiving massage being exposed at one time. During the massage you will be asked to inform the therapist if any of the strokes are causing any discomfort. This time is for YOU and it is the therapist's intent to promote healing, good health, and relaxation. After the massage you are encouraged to drink plenty of water to help remove toxins flushed out by the massage. This will help reduce any muscle soreness that sometimes occurs after massage.
What kind of Massage is done?
Rose and Janice integrate their massage with Swedish, deep tissue, and some myofascial work. They also do pregnancy and chair massage upon request.

Family 5 Kitties - once feral but now house cats. (Their homeless mother left them on my porch one cold, snowy day three years ago.) Due to this I have considered writing a book called "Back Porch Tails."
I feel that God has led and blessed me with abilities to minister to the hurt, injured, and stressed bodies and souls of those who God would bring to me. I feel it is a privilege to work with the Christian team of health care workers at Anderson Chiropractic. It is my firm belief that Massage Therapy should be viewed not just as a luxury, but as an integral part of our healthcare and overall wellness. My intent is to individualize each massage so that the desired outcome is achieved. ~Rose

Family I have an amazing husband of 9 years named Zach, and two awesome boys. My oldest son, Jeremiah James ("JJ"), is three years old, and my youngest son, Gabriel ("Gabe"), is now one. I also have two doggies named Kya and Jules.
Massage therapy has always been a hobby of mine for as long as I can remember. By the grace of God, I am able to make a living for my family doing what I am passionate about. My goal is to aide in the healing process through therapeutic massage to give the desired outcome set by the doctor and patients that I am privileged to work with. Being part of this team of health care professionals is an amazing opportunity and I feel blessed to be a part of Anderson Chiropractic. ~Janice
